Privacy Policy
This policy describes what data Appalachian Spatial Labs collects from visitors to this site. The short version: we don't collect any.
We do not collect, store, sell, or process any personal data from visitors to this site. No accounts. No forms. No cookies. No analytics. No trackers.
Information We Collect
None. This website is a static informational site. We do not operate user accounts, contact forms, newsletter signups, or any other mechanism that captures personal information.
Cookies & Tracking
We do not set cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Plausible, Mixpanel, Segment, or any other analytics provider. We do not embed third-party tracking pixels, social widgets, or advertising scripts.
Server Logs
This site is served as static content. Standard, transient hosting-provider request logs (which may include IP addresses) are governed by our hosting provider's policies and are not accessed, retained, or analyzed by Appalachian Spatial Labs.
Data Sources We Use
Our prototype operates entirely on open-source, public datasets — including satellite telemetry (e.g., Sentinel-5P TROPOMI), public facility registries, and regulatory filings. We do not want, nor will we accept, any internal company data from operators.
Email Correspondence
If you choose to email us at research@appalachianspatial.io, we will only use your message to respond to your inquiry. We do not add senders to any mailing list or share addresses with third parties.
Changes to This Policy
If our data practices change, we will update this page and revise the effective date at the top. As of June 1, 2026, no collection mechanisms are in place.
